We've been in Belgium a long time; our Den Hoorn brewery dates back to 1366. Fast-forward 650 years, and you’ll find our Global and European HQ and our Global Innovation and Technology Centre in Leuven, near Brussels. Here, our teams work on all kinds of ambitious projects, from making beer more sustainable, to organising events like the Tomorrowland Festival, and running some of our biggest brands’ global sport sponsorships.
Belgium is a unique mix of medieval and modern. Lively bars line old town squares, and gothic churches sit side-by-side with contemporary art galleries. With three official languages and many others spoken, this small nation is a true cultural melting pot. We Belgians take great pride in our food, with waffles, mussels, and chocolate on the menu. But beer, perhaps, is our greatest legacy of all; so much so that UNESCO has celebrated our beer culture as part of humanity's cultural heritage.
We have breweries and distribution centres in 10 towns: they keep our customers supplied with brands like Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Leffe, Jupiler, Belle-Vue, Piedboeuf and Vieux-Temps, to name a few.
We work hard at AB InBev – but it’s not all we do. Colleagues can break a sweat at our on-site fitness centres in Leuven or Jupille, or kick back and celebrate the week’s successes at one of our open bars, stocked full of the world’s best-loved beers.
