What does our Commercial Management Traineeship mean?

The Commercial Management Traineeship is a hands-on programme, where you will be selling our amazing beer brands, gain strong management skills & learn about business strategy as we prepare you to become our future Sales & Commercial leaders.

The CMT is an 18-month programme starting in August 2025, giving you the confidence, training, and communication skills necessary to sell anything from new products to great ideas. It is an incredible opportunity for you to show off your skills, learn the business, take ownership, and deliver results. The programme focuses on a 70-20-10 learning and development approach to maximize learning and give you the best opportunity to grow within an exciting, fast-paced Company.

How will the 70/20/10 methodology work for you?

We believe that the best way to really develop is by doing.

70%

  • 70% of your learning will come from on-the-job learning where you will embrace opportunities at the front line of our business, either in On-trade sales (pubs, bars, clubs) or Off-trade sales (supermarkets, retailers). You will be going out in the field, building relationships with our customers, but also pursuing new customers, negotiating deals with business owners, and looking for ways to activate our brands and gain market share.

  • Complementing your hands-on responsibilities in the field, you will get an incredible opportunity to work on a strategic Sales and Commercial project, providing exposure to senior leadership & an opportunity to develop your skills working with bright and experienced colleagues.

20%

  • 20% of your learning will come from mentorship programmes, coaching, collaboration with key stakeholders & plenty of opportunities for feedback.

  • You will also receive several International trainings, where you will come together with the other trainee programs to get exposure to the broader business, collaborate on critical work challenges & learn from our most senior leaders as you dive into our strategy & operations, whilst living our vibrant culture. On top of this, you will receive technical & product trainings, trainings to develop key critical competencies, such as negotiation and conversation techniques.

10%

  • Formal trainings, including workshops & online training courses, is the final 10% of your learning. You will have a series of trainings, helping you to understand the broader departments within Sales and Commercial as you explore the world of revenue management, category management, sales intelligence, and much more.

"It's a fantastic way of learning the core essence of our business: selling beer and getting people to drink our beer. If we didn't do that, our business wouldn't exist. So you get a fantastic broad overview of the company, which I don't think you'd get just from any other role."
