Procurement is divided in 6 main streams:
Indirect: purchases of ‘simple packages’ (Fees, Travel, Facilities, Leases & Rentals), industrial CAPEX & spare parts, Technology, Dispense equipment, POCM & Marketing Services.
Direct: purchases of raw materials, auxiliaries, by-products, energy& fluids, and packaging.
T&L: procurement of services related to logistics support and transport ( tier 1 & 2).
Capabilities: sourcing analytics, compliance, procurement school/ABIU, process optimisation & systems management.
Planning & Performance Management: financial performance management (including commodity/risk management), reporting, coordination of budgeting & targeting process.
Shared Services: spot buying, PR to PO specialists, contract management, master data management, e-sourcing specialists.
