Supply Chain Management Traineeship
Start your career with AB InBev
What does our Supply Chain Management Traineeship mean?
The 6-month Supply Chain Management Traineeship (SMT) starting in August 2025 is designed to build your leadership, project and general management skills, and give you a 360° view on our Supply Chain.
This programme is rooted in our culture and company strategy, providing experiences in life on the front-line of a brewery, working with our operators to make the beers we're famous for.
The programme focuses on a 70-20-10 learning and development approach to maximize learning and give you the best opportunity to grow within an exciting, fast-paced Company.
How will the 70/20/10 methodology work for you?
We believe that the best way to really develop is by doing.
70%
- 70% of your learning will come from on-the-job learning during 3 different projects, lasting 4-6 weeks each, held in different breweries and/or logistics operations within the country you are applying for.
- These projects, led by you, are all hugely impactful in improving our processes and identifying efficiencies in our Supply Chain operations. During these projects, you'll get the opportunity to develop further your skills while working with experienced colleagues.
- You will cover the entire supply chain from farm to fridge – it’s where we combine growth, service, and cost to give us a competitive advantage.
20%
- 20% of your learning will come from mentorship programmes, coaching, collaboration with key stakeholders & plenty of opportunities for feedback.
- You will also receive several International trainings, where you will come together with the other trainee programs to get exposure to the broader business, collaborate on critical work challenges & learn from our most senior leaders as you dive in to our strategy & operations, whilst living our vibrant culture.
10%
- Formal trainings, including workshops & online training courses is the final 10% of your learning. You will have a series of trainings, helping you to develop key hard and soft critical competencies to support your journey to becoming the future people leaders of our company.
- In addition, you will have the opportunity during the SMT program to get accreditation in the Brewing/Distilling process to really showcase & leverage this knowledge during your projects in the different breweries and/or logistics operations.

"What I learned in the different roles I have done in the past almost 8 years now in Supply and Logistics is the importance of data and measuring your performance. Because of what you major you can improve!
And only if you start majoring, can you see if things are getting out of hand so having correct and fast problem-solving strategies in place is a way how we will sustainably solve issues."
